NOMINACIONES A LOS OSCAR

Mi intención era empezar hoy una serie de posts dedicados a los proyectos más premiados en la pasada edición de los Globos de Oro, ya que con toda probabilidad seguirán recibiendo otros galardones en los certámenes que se acercan (BAFTA, Oscar, etc.).

My wish today was to start with a serie of posts dedicated to the most awarded projects in the last Golden Globes edition, as probably shall be those which will be the recipients of the next awards' festivals (BAFTA, Oscar, etc.). 

 

Pero precisamente acaba de tener lugar el anuncio de los nominados a los Premios de la Academia de Hollywood en el Teatro Samuel Goldwyn, y con motivo del mismo aprovecho para escribir sobre las esperadas nominaciones.

But as the announcement of the  nominees to the Hollywood Academy Awards has just taken place from the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater, I take the opportunity to write about the expected nominations.

Como era de esperar, las que acumulan más candidatos a las estatuillas son American Hustle y The Wolf of Wall Street.

As expected, those films accumulating more candidates to the trophees are American Hustle and The Wolf of Wall Street.

La gala tendrá lugar el 2 de marzo -algo muy inusual ya que siempre es en febrero, pero por fechas coincide así- con Ellen DeGeneres como maestra de ceremonias, y tal y como anunció la Academia de Hollywood hace un par de días, esta 86a edición estará dedicada a los héroes, siendo la temática de la misma.

The ceremony will take place on March 2 -something not usual as it is always in february, but this year's calendar has caused it this way- hosted by Ellen DeGeneres. The subject of this 86th edition will be heroes, as indicated by the Academy itself some days ago.
